PRESS RELEASE

For Immediate Release: December 19, 2014

With rising electricity prices, energy efficiency is a great way to reduce energy consumption. The Cape Light Compact’s award winning energy efficiency programs offer substantial financial incentives that can make energy efficiency improvements very affordable. The programs are available to any business on Cape Cod or Martha’s Vineyard, whether the business site is owned or rented.

What:

The Hyannis Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a special breakfast meeting to discuss opportunities for substantial savings available through Cape Light Compact’s energy efficiency programs. Meredith Miller, Manager of the Compact’s commercial programs, will present information on a range of programs available for any size business for equipment replacements or upgrades, new construction and building retrofits.

When:

Tuesday, January 13th from 7:30 to 9 am

Where:

Courtyard Marriott, Route 132, Hyannis

Any business that signs up for a free energy assessment at the meeting will get an additional 10% incentive above the current financial incentive toward the cost of measures that are installed as a result of the assessment (up to a maximum of $5,000 and not to exceed the cost of the measure.)  Attendees also will receive a FREE Energy Efficiency light bulb.

The event is open to any interested business. The cost of the breakfast is $15 for HACC members and $25 for guests. RSVP to Ellen Brady at ellen@hyannis.com.
